BridgeSpan Medicine is an adolescent-focused medical practice in White Plains, NY. We proudly provide the immunizations that are necessary to keep your teen healthy. Although there is currently a strong “anti-vax” movement making its way through the country, the truth is that the movement is based on poor science. The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) continues to stand by its recommendations regarding immunizations for children, adolescents, and adults. Highly scientific, comprehensive research has not found any links between vaccinations and autism, but the lifesaving benefits cannot be denied.
For teens who received all recommended childhood immunizations, generally recommended vaccinations include Hepatitis A and B, meningitis, HPV (human papilloma virus), and a Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap) booster. We will review your teen’s records and make individual recommendations.
